ICC Representatives Participate in the V Eurasian Economic Forum
Representatives of the Information and Computing Center (ICC) took part in the 5th Eurasian Economic Forum, held in the capital city. As part of the forum, a panel session titled "Application of Modern Digital Technologies in the Activities of Statistical Authorities" was organized by Daniyar Imanaliyev, Minister in charge of Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
The ICC delegation included Director Kairat Kipatov, Director of the Project Management Department Akmaral Tokbergenova, as well as experts from the Center for Demographic Analysis and Forecasting, Ghali Madi and Shynar Tuleshova.
Participants discussed current trends in the digital transformation of the statistical sector, the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies, and modern approaches to automating data collection, processing, and analysis. Representatives of central banks and statistical authorities of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union, along with international experts from the United Nations and the CIS Statistical Committee, shared their experiences and best practices.
During the discussion, participants highlighted that the adoption of modern digital solutions contributes to improving the timeliness and quality of statistical information. Particular attention was also given to ensuring the reliability of official data and developing harmonized approaches to information exchange.
At the conclusion of the session, participants emphasized the importance of international cooperation, the implementation of advanced analytical tools, and the enhancement of professional competencies among specialists.
Participation in the forum enabled ICC representatives to gain valuable insights into leading international practices and innovative solutions in the digitalization of statistics, which can support the further development of digital projects and demographic forecasting systems.
